So you may be asking yourself about the Tracy Anderson Method, and does it actually work?  My question for you is how do you define success in a diet?  I have tried a lot of different diets, and in the past I was not clear about my goals and so I never found a diet that “worked.”  When I started the Tracy Anderson Diet, I had very concrete goals.  I wanted to lost 15 pounds in the first 30 days and lose 4 inches off my waist.  This was the first time I had been so specific about a diet in my life.  Fast forward 30 days and I had lost 33 pounds and 4 1/2 inches.  So in terms of success or failure, you could say the diet was a success for I reached my goal.

The thing that I loved so much about the Tracy Anderson Diet is how is was broken down into stages.  The fist part of the diet is where you work on your muscle tone and shape.  There are 3 different parts or sequences to the muscle shaping sequence.  Here you will focus on your smaller muscles, the ones that do not get used very much.  Why would you want to focus on these?  No one wants to add bulk to the body, especially when they are trying to lose weight.  This keeps the body from bulking up, while at the same time toning the body and adding more curves.  You will be switching up the sequence every 10 days, so you do not get bored with the workouts and so your muscles do not get used to the same workout.

Secondly, you will focus on cardiovascular exercises to get the heart rate up.  This jump starts the metabolism and helps the body lose more weight.  Believe it or not, but when the metabolism is activated, the pounds come off so much quicker.  This helps burn the fat off quickly and also gives you the energy to sustain you through your day.  If your metabolism is not activated right now, try this diet and feel the difference when it kicks in.  It is an amazing feeling, like there is an internal turbocharger!  Talk about feeling young and vibrant!

The 3rd and last part to the diet is about eating healthy.  This one part is the foundation of any and all diets, because if you are not feeding your body the right fuel, it cannot sustain itself.  Everyone has heard about the body being our temple, but when you actually put good food in the body, you will actually know what this means.  The diet focuses on eating a nutritious foods that are high in fiber.  This helps detox the body and rid itself of all of the toxins.  Then the high nutrition food comes in to replace the bad foods and give your metabolism an extra kick start.

I get this question a lot about the diet, and it is a valid question.  Most people want to know about a diet before they start it, which is reasonable too.  I have to answer this question honestly, and the Tracy Anderson Diet is one of the best diets I have found for men or women.  Tracy Anderson’s Diet Method is not for the faint of heart, but it is an extremely effective way to shed the pounds and feel great.  The best part of the whole diet to me is that I feel so much better.  It is one thing to look good, but to feel good as well really seals the deal for me on this diet.

Why is the Tracy Anderson Diet 30 days long?  I cannot answer this exactly, but can take a guess at it.  For me if the diet was 180 days long, I would have been less likely to have started it.  30 days seems manageable for most people and I believe it is.  30 days is not the rest of my life, nor is it going to kill me, so why not give it a shot?  Exactly!  And if after 30 days you really like it, then why not stay on it or even repeat the process?  30 days is a great amount of time to commit to the diet and get the metabolism working.  Once the metabolism kicks in, then the pounds really start to come off.  This is the great fact of any diet paired with exercise and the Tracy Anderson Diet is one of the best ways to do this that I know of.
